The Kulika Charitable Trust is an Uganda non-registered non-governmental bureau that is responsible for Kulika's programs. Kulika has 26 employees in Kampala and around the country.

The Kulika charitable trust gets it's funding from several different resources. Most of the funding has come from over-seas from grant making institutions but funding has also come from individuals and company based organization.

The Kulika Charitable Trust and its trustees are in charge of several programs. One program is the scholarship program. Kulika has a very long history of always being there for the Ugandan students. They have a desire to find and help disadvantaged who live in hardship but have plenty to contribute to their community in their education. The Kulika Charitable Trust and the Scholarship committee, each year, decide on what subject the scholarship should be on that particular year. They switch it around so that they can make sure that the right educational opportunities are available for the changing times and environment.

The Kulika Charitable Trust also supports and is responsible for the Ugandan distance learning program. They help students get their education without leaving their jobs and the jobs that they have also benefit from this program because of the new skills and education that their employee is learning.

The Kulika Charitable Trust also supports and is responsible for the University of Leeds program which is a post graduate program. This is a program that has only 5 spots a year and there is a lot of competition for these spots because it is a major opportunity for the students of Uganda.

The Kulika Charitable Trust supports a community development program as well. Since most of the people of Uganda live in rural communities, their main source of work and food is their farming. The goal of the Kulika Charitable Trust in this aspect is to give funds to help teach the farmers about fertilizer and pesticides along with the use of soil and water conservation techniques and introduces them to farming technologies that will prolong the life of their farm. They help these people to improve their food security, their family income, the productivity of their farm, their nutrition and health, and the well-being of the family.
