Robert Gavron who actually is Baron Gavron is the governor of the London School of Economics and has been since 1997. He has many accomplishments including his Robert Gavron Charitable Trust.

Robert Gavron contributed to the Labour Leader's Office Fund to finance Tony Blair's private office along with many other contributions. He received a life peerage as Baron Gavron, of Highgate in the Borough of Camden on August 6th, 1999.

The Robert Gavron Charitable Trust has helped to fund the Who Cares Trust which has been a national charity since 1992. This charity addresses the need of 60,000 young people who live in the UK in public care. This fund gives money to the orphanages and tries to help find foster care and adoptive parents of the children. The fund also to pay for education and life skills to those young people who have gotten to an age where they call them un-adoptable.

The Robert Gavron Charitable Trust has also help to fund a major building project in the Trafalgar Square in London called St. Martin in the fields. This organization was founded in 1978 and strives in encouraging the continued interest in contemporary dance in Britain. They showcase a large festival that ranks as one of the highest among Europe's leading dance festivals. The Robert Gavron Charitable Trust helps to fund this dance company being able to tour over seas to allow the rest of the world to be involved in their works.
